Symposium Publication

After the successful symposium "Management of artists' estates", which took place in January this year at the Cologne auction house Van Ham, the demand for a documentation was high. Now the conference proceedings have been published by Van Ham Art Publications.

Why do some artists fall into oblivion after their death? A question that not only the artist himself, but sooner or later also his heirs, gallery owners, collectors and curators have to deal with. The topic of "managing artists' estates" is becoming increasingly important, but so far there has been a lack of sustainable and comprehensive concepts to master this demanding task professionally.
The documentation now vividly summarizes all the specific problems and new solution strategies discussed during the symposium.
