20 years of dtb rechtsanwälte - to mark the occasion, the law firm hosted a festive dinner at the Bode Museum in Berlin. It was a great privilege to be able to celebrate this incomparable evening at the top of the Museum Island. ‘Many thanks to the Kaiser Friedrich Museumsverein and its chairperson Dr Brigit Blass-Simmen,’ said the firm's founder Dr Pascal Decker in his welcoming speech.
The evening began with champagne from Vranken Pommery and an exclusive private tour of the museum with Thomas Hoffmann. The official part of the evening was introduced by Australian artist Shona Stark with an impressive performance from the museum's grand staircase. The haunting performance was characterised by strict minimalism and emotionally humorous subtext at the intersection of the conceptual and the sensual.
Following the performance, the law firm partners Dr Pascal Decker and Bertold Schmidt-Thomé invited guests to a seated dinner in the museum's gallery. The presence of 70 important representatives of the art world illustrated the roots that dtb rechtsanwälte has put down in the cultural scene since it was founded in 2004. In addition to artists such as Markus Lüpertz and Jonathan Meese, influential collections, galleries, auction houses, journalists and cultural politicians were also represented. ‘It is an honour to provide legal support to such an authoritative circle of art patrons,’ summarised the hosts.
