Laura Schopp joined dtb in 2013. Her practice focuses on copyright and contract law as well as all aspects of IP-related matters. Her clients especially benefit from her contacts to galleries and various cultural institutions.
Laura studied law and German literature in Berlin. Before joining dtb as a lawyer, she worked inter alia for the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation (Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz). She currently undertakes a doctoral thesis on the constitutional dimension of art law at Humboldt University. She was also a Research Assistant to her supervisor, Professor Dieter Grimm, at the Institute for Advanced Study (Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin).
Laura speaks German, English and Italian.
She is a member of the German Women Lawyers Association.
